Coral beach

We had a lazy morning. I read my book, 'Gods of the morning' by Sir John Lister-Kaye, nearly finished it.
I watched a peregrine falcon fly over Loch Bay.lots of blackbirds have arrived feeding on the red cotoneaster berries and there's a robin that sits on the hedge singing away.
It brightened up abit so we went to Dunvegan and on to the car park to the walk to the Coral Beach. Lovely Rowan trees lined the path, bent permanently showing the way the wind usually blows. It was a pleasant walk, feeling fairly warm and not too windy and dry.
There are great views down to the beach from a high point. We continued down to the beach, we were the only ones there. We walked past where the film set had been for Robert the Bruce a few weeks ago. Bits of straw and piles of stones remained. We picked up pretty shells found among the pieces of coral like dried seaweed. Although it was nt sunny the sea was still a wonderful colour with shades of turquoise. We sat on the black rocks and admired the view,
We carried on walking round the corner with views back to Stein.Thereas evidence that otters had been around.
We saw a huge Fox moth caterpillar on the way back up the hill.
A good walk back and a nice sunset to end the day.
