Happy Birthday China

October 1st is China's National Day and commemorates the day when, in 1949, Mao stood at Tian'anmen and pronounced the creation of the People's Republic of China.

So here's my son holding one of his favourite books, a book of national flags. Of course given the date today's blip must be the flag of the PRC. (and, no matter what, he refused to smile sweetly only pull funny faces)
