No photo of Daisy's face was approved so I will just have to describe her to you. She has the loveliest of smiley faces. And sometimes the most sullen of cross faces. And a whole expressive range in between. She is a proper top girl with the biggest heart. My mum keeps buying her cards with owls on because she reminds her of a wise owl, I think it's spot on. She (Daisy, not my mum) is now 16 but essentially exactly the same as when she was two (except with straighter hair and more make up).

Ignoring the work/ school bit of the day, there has been presents, pizza, cake, Yahtzee and the bake off.
