Gaudi in Barcelona

The Casa Batlló  (1904-1906) is one of seven buildings by Antoni Gaudí  (1852 - 1926) that are on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.

The building was original design as apartment building for  Josep Batlló in 1900 and he gave Gaudí free hands to design something new. Josep and his family lived here until 1950.

Today it contains also offices and cultural and tourist facilities beside apartments.

It must be fascinating to live here! I'm sure that I would love it!
