Drink No More

This, unfortunately is a sign of the times. Pubs all over the country are closing down, probably as a result of the recession, smoking ban, etc.

This used to be a thriving pub serving meals and quite busy. As happens they change hands, aren't run as well as they should be, so customers drift elsewhere until they go under.

It's a pity, because it's a sorry sight all boarded up. I suppose eventually it will be sold as a residential development and turned into housing.
