Newcastle Downunder

Obelisk Hill

When Newcastle was a fledgling settlement there used to be a water reservoir on this hill.  I am sure there would be something underground still.  There used to be windmills around here too if the etchings and old paintings are correct.  It is a high point in the area.   As a consequence, the obelisk is often hit by lightning.  I am not sure which version we are up to here.

Thanks to Bobsblips for the challenge.

Two sleeps to go.
