Concorde

After breakfast this morning we set off to the Fleet Air Arm Museum.  Elaine and I were probably not too keen on this venue but in the event really enjoyed ourselves.  We had split up and KG beckoned me to the Concorde which we could go inside.  It was kinda special because years ago as a punch card operator I did a lot of inputting for the Concorde.  We were both on the airfield when this one 002 took off  - I was on BAC side and KG on the Rolls Royce side.  It was quite special to see it take off.  We were also lucky enough to see the Concorde take off for its last flight from the states and KG was again at Filton Airfield when the Filton Concorde finally landed.
We had a super day at the Fleet Air Arm Museum and did the Aircraft Carrier tour which was fascinating.
MY extra is of the Concorde cockpit

A rather grey misty day
