Take off

I went back to Craiglockhart Pond after my Steady Steps class and saw a female goosander, but I wasn't sure it was the same one as last week as her left eye looked fine - hopefully it was.

After a certain amount of wing flapping on land, the swan family flew the length of the pond which was a great sight. It took a fair amount of pond to get airborne, but they did eventually get there - the extra photo shows them landing.
