Bird of Paradise

Until I took this photo I really didn't understand why the Strelitzia was called Bird of Paradise flower.  But just look at this detail!  There's the white beak, and the blue head, and a tiny blue eye.

And I never noticed this before.  And I have to say it's a bit hard to see with my failing eyesight - but it's all there through the lens.
