Mist and Mellow

Feeling mellow tonight after my first 'time off' for a while.  Jamie's last riding instructor, Shannon, came in to eat pizza and bake cookies with him while I went off to Oulton Broad to talk alpines to the local hort club.  It was a misty drive home but the evening lifted my spirits considerably, being confined to base can drive a person stir crazy after a while.   Jamie and Shannon had a blast too so all good tonight :-)

Erodium daucoides, raised from seed this year, flowering in a sunny raised bed.  The rain never came to much here .... what my Nan used to call mizzle!
