Starling Shower

At breakfast this morning I saw irregular showers coming down outside the window opposite me. It turned out to be several starlings in the gutter above, surely bathing.  I took a series of shots up through the window and screen(the sun is just behind the gutter to the left).  An unusual bird photo to say the least :)  I'm actually not sure where the water came from, since it hasn't rained recently (possibly the drain is clogged). BTW, my ornithological expert has already emailed that the bird's pale iris indicates it's a female
