Balnain House

Built as a merchant's town house in the 1720s, it became a public space as the home of Highland Music in the 1990s. My late wife Ruth worked in the cellar bar there, and there were some good drawing room concerts and open mic nights at that time. Unfortunately the enterprise went belly up, and the building is now office space for the National Trust for Scotland.
