Thunder/lightening/rain!

Yuk weather today .......
But this didn't stop us going out being tourists.
Raincoats had been packed (just in case), packed lunch made and off we headed, through the rain, to the other side of the island, Fornell. Roads nice and quiet. Parking spaces available in abundance :). Typical of most little towns around Menorca at the moment, a lot if places have closed for the season. Managed to stop off at a cafe for a bite to eat (snack) and a hot drink, then took the scenic route home, via Mahon (Mao). Stopping at Mahon, Parking was not so easy here - managed to pull into a space a distance from the main town, but giving a great view of the port (no ships in - we had docked here same time last year, as our last stop on our cruise). Typical tourists, sat in our car, eating packed lunch (while it continued to rain).
Returned back to the villa - still raining. The inflatable ring had blown into the pool and was moving around the pool with the wind blowing it here and there. At one point it blow out then back in :~}
Hot drink, snack and watched a DVD (Inferno).
Evening - rain stopped, no wind - peaceful and calm.
