The Twig

That's what we've been calling it for two years, its proper name Campsis Indian Summer. For twelve months it looked like a dead twig reluctantly sprouting a couple of leaves. This year it added some more leaves but didn't flower. With the onset of Autumn Redilady decided that it had cluttered  the patio long enough and transferred it to the edge of the garden. The D--- thing has started to flower.
