He had open heart surgery last year and now has a plastic aorta. He's spent more than 2 years in the hospital, once when he was logging he got pinned by a tree, that was six months. Another time he ran a snow machine up a tree 25 feet going 60 miles an hour. He told the doc to fix him up so he could get back out there and race. He's slowed down now, he doesn't race anymore.
