Power of Scotland?

This afternoon MaggieD and I took Rona to Culross for a walk. Plenty of bird life over the water, including a heron way out on the rocks. There were also large skeins of geese passing over which delighted MaggieD.
The sharp eyed will have spotted the Lion Rampant on the flagstaff in the foreground. Strictly, this ought to be flown from Scottish government buildings or by high officials of the Scottish state so I have no idea why it was flying in Culross today. However I rather liked the idea of the petro-chemical powerhouse of Grangemouth standing behind the ancient Scottish Royal Standard.
