The edge of the storm

A blustery day, with occasional showers.  I managed to get the second curtain sewn, and we did 3 loads of washing, though it isn't all dry as I had to take it in in a hurry, when a shower passed over.

Then a trip to the supermarket, and I had to stop en route when I spotted this sky.  I bought ready made pizza for tea, and the first mince pies of the year.

W meanwhile has been working hard, fitting skirting boards to walls that are not straight.  It's all taking longer than it should, because nothing is straightforward.  There's a bit more to do tomorrow.
