Fair to middlin'

Longué looked appealing but turned out to be not the best stop to date. Rowdy youngsters in the evening were followed by folks banging on the parked van at 02:15 hrs. A second night was not attractive and we stopped only to allow me to investigate the ancient washhouses along the little watercourse beside the aire.

Tonight we are on a campsite on an island in the middle of the Loire and right in the heart of Saumur, opposite the Chateau. We hope to stay a while.
