Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh My!

I planned a day out at Chester Zoo today. The weather was good and it's the week before half-term so it would be quieter.

I wasn't disappointed. You had plenty of time and space to watch the animals and take photos. 

Part of the zoo was closed off due to a tree being felled by Hurricane Ophelia, and there's work going on in some parts too. But it's such a big space you don't miss out at all. I did get to see the big creatures, the Sumatran Tigers,  the Asiatic lions, the Andean and Sun Bears and sleeping jaguars (see extra).
