Nurses reunion

Today I met up with four nursing colleagues. We started our training together 35 years ago this month.  It was a brilliant three years with lots of hard work and fun along the way. There was much hilarity, reminiscing and putting the nursing/midwifery worlds to rights over lunch in the Lounge at Penrith.
Mandy (short very dark hair) is a breast cancer surviver, it was discovered on a routine mammogram, it's good to see her looking well, poor lass had no hair when we met last year.
Anne (patterned top), walked the coast to coast from St.Bees to Robin Hoods bay, mostly on her own just the other week.
Hilary (butterfly scarf), has 13 year old girl twins and likes to run. She has been known to run one or two 50 mile runs!! (I'm out of breath thinking about it).
Chris (navy top), runs the family business, lime spreading and haulage. It's amazing how much red tape there is to get one lorry on the road and they have a few. Chris and I often meet up for lunch.
Me (black top), I like sparkly things especially prosecco!
