“Thimble”, Almere

For our last day in the Netherlands we went for a cycle around the town of Almere. We went to the tourist information to get a guide to cycle route and then followed it. Being Dutch it was quite efficient, but not easily followed where there were roadworks. Almere is a town built on land reclaimed from the North Sea so was set up for public transport and bikes, with cars being an afterthought. As a result it is difficult to get directly from A to B and you go by C, D, E etc. The blip is one of the many pieces of sculpture in the municipality.

Yesterday’s blip.
