Pink October : Pink Hedge

We had a wonderful walk through a local farm, admiring the beautiful gardens and the lawn like fields, in which happy sheep and deer were frolicking in the sun.  The first extra is of  a red barn that we passed.  I love the stone steps leading to the double doors, and the stack stone wall in front of the barn.  Even had antlers over the door!  The second extra is of 3 members of the walking group sitting on a stacked stone wall.

We had our lunch at a local cafe (which was closed because it is a holiday weekend), and then viewed a display of outdoor furniture on display next to the cafe.  We walked back to the cars, and had a cuppa at a local cafe (that was open).  All in all a wonderful day out.  We walked just over 15,000 steps (8.6 km.)  That's enough walking for one day, so I'll put my feet up for a well earned rest.
