Sydney Park

Had lunch with friends today.
It was good to see them happily ensconced in their new home.

It was stinking hot, 32' (nearly 99'F) and the first bushfires of the season are burning on the central coast.

I stopped off briefly at Sydney Park on the way home as there are always photos to be had.
Others had the same idea:)

21 years ago a brickworks and rubbish tip were transformed into a 44 hectare green haven.
Many of the old buildings remain, including three iconic smokestacks, which dominate the skyline.
