Delightful dahlia

I'm so lucky that there are such gorgeous gardens near my house! It means I don't have to be green-fingered myself to snap a beautiful dahlia.

I have my first photography 'gig' today. I'm a bit nervous! I've been asked to take staff portraits for one of the research groups. They'll be going up on the university website.

No pay, of course, but I've asked to be credited for it on the website.

I've lugged in some bed sheets, a white parasol and some tin foil to cobble together a Heath-Anderson lighting setup. Wish me luck!
