Shaggy Scalycap Fungi

This morning I went for a walk on Oswestry Racecourse (not used for racing now!) It was lovely seeing a flock of mistle thrushes and a few redwings - the first migrant thrushes that I've seen arrive.

I spotted this clump of Shaggy Scalycap fungi under a tree, I'd have liked to have removed the sticks in the shot but didn't fancy scrambling up the muddy and thorny slope any higher than I needed to!

I went to yoga this afternoon and managed to find the right door after last week's fiasco!
