Painted

My clinic room (at the centre where I work on Wednesdays) was painted last Friday - along with all the other rooms. As well as contending with the lingering paint fumes (which necessitated opening the window, which is situated just by the outlet from the building’s air conditioning, which thus let in a hell of a lot of noise and hot air), I was left puzzling over one interesting choice, which was apparently replicated throughout the building: only three of the four walls were painted.

I was even told that the painters said they were instructed to paint just three walls in each room.

Cue my perplexed face.
