Wide Angle Wednesday: Rosie

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Angle Wednesday.
The OctobeR theme calls for something starting with "O", "R" or with 10 things in it.

So here is Rosie (named by the great nephews at the weekend), the little calf we are trying to hand rear after losing its mother.

She is very happy to drink from a bottle and follows us everywhere looking for more.
It remains to be seen if it agrees with her and we can keep up the quantity.

Frustratingly we also have a cow whose strong, healthy calf died (we suspect it may have been snake bite) the day after Rosie lost her mother.
Although Rosie would be keen, so far she won't accept a strange calf.
We have left them together in the yard tonight just in the hope she may deign to feed her.
