Brilliant disguise

Evening all,

Quite recently I went to a pearl wedding anniversary where the bride was unable to attend due to having had a collapse on the day of the do,

This put somewhat of a damper on the evening and it was a less than lively night (she insisted from her sick bed it went ahead)

You couldn't attend a worse party than that.....apart from the 50th birthday party I attended on Saturday.

God, I have been to more lively wakes, even the Dj gave up,packed up and went home halfway through....

Thing was, no one really noticed as he was so awful,

the speech the birthday boy gave started with us raising glasses to a dead relative who would've been 100 next week, if she hadn't died just 30 years short of the target.... Slightly killed what atmos was left,

and an announcement that the buffet would only be open for fifteen minutes before the food was cleared away was the final straw.

I have given him advance warning I shall boycott his 100th if he doesn't up his game......
