The sun came out!

I found myself in St Saviours this afternoon and thought the view over Lihou Headland looked amazing! The tower was built as part of the German defences of Guernsey during WW2 on what remained of Fort Saumerez. I like the beach here for a dog walk now that October is here and the dog is allowed on this beach again. Might be best on large!

A bit of info below!
Marine Peilstand 2
This tower on the high point of Lihou Headland is one of 5 MP observation towers around the island used for range finding and to triangulate angles of fire for the coastal batteries - each of the 4 observation floors of the tower served a different batterie.
