Capturing my Journey

Looking for Lass

Over rainbow bridge. Lass was Pips sister who we had put to sleep 5 years ago today as she lost her fight with an illness. She is buried here it's a very pretty spot on the farm. Extra has the panorama of the rainbow.

This morning we sorted and loaded sheep at the farm where we manage the livestock. Shaw and Cuillin came out of retirement to gather them in. It's nice to use the old dogs when it's an easy little field gather to be done. After all the dogs had a run on the beach there.

This afternoon we had rspb here inspecting the sea Eagle nest on the farm. They have collected all the bones and feathers from in the nest and on the ground surrounding it and then they go to someone else who identifies everything. They said it's mainly fulmers and other sea birds some fish and geese and a few rabbits. Possibly one lamb carcass. Having the Sea Eagles recently making their nest right next to our lambing field does have us on edge.
