The road to no where??!!

Every morning, when Ann drives to work, she passes over a bridge which has, what she thought, was an old railway line walkway below. As we like finding new walks................ today was the day that we decided to investigate what we thought was a fabulous new walk.



…............Best laid plans and all that.....................



Walked along part of the old railway line walkway which goes through lots of trees and I was allowed off my lead to go squirrel chasing. And then we came to the part that we'd never walked before. Obviously Ann had done a bit of googling before we went on our 'new exciting walk'.



Sooooooo...................... we started walking down the old railway track, which was tar-maced by this point, and then a car crept up behind us. Ann put me back on my lead but the driver still glared at us. Had a very pleasant walk for about half a mile or so and then we came to a 'locked gate'.



Due to all the 'googling' that Ann had done she knew that there were a lot of railway buildings at the end of the railway track walkway, and obviously the car that had passed us had gone through the locked gate, because there was no other place he could have gone unless he was a ghost?



So we had to turn around and walk all the way back.



We've walked about 5 miles today and that was after Ann had swum 100 lengths.
