ON THE PLATFORM

A young woman stood there,  eating, it tasted good, the pigeon would have liked to get a bit of it, but she turned away from her/him.
All went well on our travel day. We had one and a half hour to spend in Duisburg between trains.
Nearly at 5 pm we reached our apartment, drank tea, and before long Mischa phoned, curious if we had arrived, and some time later we could greet and hug her. So good to be together.
She made us a delicious pasta, and had brought a special vegan icecream. We had presents to exchange, lovely festive moments.
Saturday we will visit Jet's grave. I have brought big, beautifully coloured leaves, red and yellow which I had collected on our last walk in Herstelle, and also leaves of our oak tree, a chestnut, and some seeds.
Tomorrow I will catch up, after such a long day I need a rest, and certainly a good sleep will help.
