Day 6

Today we did an early game drive around the other side of Lake Nakuru and were treated to a beautiful sunrise at 06.30. The light was stunning casting a peachy glow over the low lying mist. There were many more pelican and flamingo today and we even saw a snake poking it's head above the water level!
The afternoon we were on the move again. No standing still on this trip!! This time we headed for Eldoret, the 4th largest town in Kenya, and a few of us took an option to upgrade our basic tent to a log cabin with a proper bed and a plug point...woohoo.
