The Dodds

A U3A walk to tick off four Wainwrights (3 new ones for me): Stybarrow Dodd for the third time this year, Watson's Dodd, Great Dodd and Clough Head. A circular walk from Legburthwaite of 12 miles and 3400' of ascent with steep ascents, steep descents and plenty of boggy bits in-between. The light was very flat for most of the day but eventually the sun shone late in the afternoon to accentuate the lovely autumn colours. The blip is of Castle Rock near Legburthwaite.
