Dunnottar Castle

Lovely sunshine at midday so decided to take a trip to Dunnottar Castle and catch it in the sun.  Sod's Law and clouds had gathered when I arrived there  -  I stayed around for an hour but no sun. It was 9 degrees! Being a weekday I thought there would be plenty of space in the Car Park, but it was full so I parked in the place reserved for busses.  I think most of the visitors were tourists.  It's £7 to go around the castle and outbuildings  -  not done that yet!  You can read about the castle by clicking HERE!  A very long and interesting history.   There was a helicopter flying over as I arrived  -  see my extra.  My usual efforts at capturing flying objects  -  usually it's tail, but for a change, the nose:)
