Flower Friday

What a glorious day it has been.
Unfortunately we have not been able to enjoy it as at lunch time we had a dental appointment. Just our usual 6 month check up. All OK!
Then a busy afternoon.
As we are going away tomorrow I have given these lilies to our neighbour's daughter as it is her birthday.
Just seemed such a shame to leave them behind on our windowsill.
They are actually some a friend gave me 10 days ago, and are now at there best.
So I took this photo just before I handed them over.
Note I have removed the stamens. I have too many clothes stained by these in the past.

The weekend tomorrow. Hope you all have a good one.
It would be nice if the weather was as good as today.
