Last day of school before our Fall break, and a special assembly to celebrate Cumhuriyet Bayram, (creation of the Turkish Republic on 29th October1923).  So well received was the performance, that it received a standing ovation from the student body. Good job, dear colleagues ! 

Then a bit of a dash home to grab a quick cuppa and my luggage and say cheerio to Harry and various visiting felines before boarding the bus to the airport (where the extra pic was taken).  Off to Essex am I. 

Couldn't choose which photo for my Blip, but in the end, the most personal image and memory generator, usually wins the day, if not the best picture.
