Nymphaea Odorata

A chilly start this morning with some frost on the car windscreen but things quickly warmed up (a bit) and we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day. It can't have been too cold because I kept my gloves in my pocket while L and I walked round Pollok Park'

Plenty of leaves on the ground but still a fair number clinging on just waiting for that final gust of wind to send them fluttering to the ground.

I was very surprised to see that there were still two water lilies in the small pond .... soaking a small amount of warmth from the sun's rays. Unfortunately they were facing away from my camera and there was no way I could reach them without falling into the water!
