Winter is coming...

...because the Juncos are arriving.
Yesterday we did not get any snow accumulation in our neighborhood, which is often called the "banana belt" because we tend to have warmer temps than the rest of the city. But even Pikes Peak only got a dusting of snow. However, the temps were below freezing this morning, making my bird bath a solid block of ice. So now I put out the heated bath, another sign of winter, to allow the birds to have water with their seed.
