My dad, the dog and some scissors

After work today we headed up to Walton with close family to spread my dads ashes underneath the copper beech tree that he and mum planted in the late 80's. We though it fitting to sprinkle Ben's ages too (D and H's dog), he'd spent the last few years of his life with mum and dad, dad was very fond of him. At least they both have company.
It was  a strange thing to do, the ashes reminded me a bit of cat litter/ plant bone meal, I'll expect the tree to have grown twice in height by this time next year!
David got a good photo of the cousins. Back to mums after for dinner and drinks, cheers Dad............and Ben night night.

(We used the scissors to open the bag of ashes)
