Bhutanese ladies

These beautiful ladies took part in the Deepawali (Festival of Light) in Cairns last night. They are originally from Bhutan. Cairns is home for many asian families, some of whom arrived as refugees.  There are strong communities living here from Nepal, Bhutan and also Hmong people from Laos.
