Fenton exhibition

This is the main reason I wanted to come to Edinburgh for my holiday instead of going to sunnier climes. The Shadows of War exhibition is on at The Palace of Holyrood. My dissertation for my degree back in 2011 was centred around the war photographer Roger Fenton and his photos of The Crimean War. It was amazing to see Queen Victoria’s original collection of Fenton’s Work. Also loved hearing other opinions of a particular photo of Fenton’s I love ( although not sure I agreed with Don Mccullens point of view ) :)
