Fun!

What a delightful day.  Went to Watersmeet for a talk, short walk and a demo of how heavy horses pull logs, helping clear out forests,  followed by a cream tea all courtesy of the National Trust.  Thereafter we went out onto Exmoor to see if the deer were visible. They were. My collage, starting top left,  shows the River Lyn, the heavy horses and their handler/owner, a hungry bird that came for crumbs and then the deer - the stag busy chasing off very young males. it was a dull day - but dry - until about 3.30 pm when the mist came down on the moor so home we came.  A wonderful day.
