Aira Force and 'The Struggle'

Met a new colleague today at the Hollens, the National Trust head office at the Lakes. Had a chat and then decided to go and have a look at Aira Force for ideas to take away to Fell Foot. My colleague asked how I was with narrow roads i said I was fine with them. She did not warn me of the steepness of said single track lane! The road is called 'The Struggle' and it certainly was that....! My poor mini almost died... Bonnie blue the Mini does not like hills...!
