Tree feller

This afternoon we had a lovely walk in Brock Wood. Matt and I were talking about tree rings, and how they can tell you a lot about the tree's life. "Yes", said Matthew, "it's like the tree's secret diary".

Red is always accusing me of making the boys whimsical. Wonder why?
