Troll Puddle Martyrs

It was the last Sunday lunch of the season today at the Stromness Hotel.  After today’s closure it won’t reopen until March.  However you should all be reassured that the Flattie will remain open.   We treated my Mum to lunch and later we joined the Stromness Branch of the European Puddle Study Group.  Having measured the puddle (incl pH and depth) we all repaired to the said Flattie.
