Paddling Like The Dickens

These two Pacific Blacks were cruising around the Brisbane River today - I'd been to Morningsong Choir in Bulimba and had a great sing, then caught the CityCat (catamaran) into the city. It was really busy around South Bank on this perfect early summer day, packed with families picnicking and swimming in the pools.

I really like their wonderful plumage and their blue bills.
