Framed by Sun

Late afternoon light adorning a house just down from us viewed from across the street.  Last night's wind and rain was less intense than forecast, and the morning brought only a bit more before the skies cleared.  We had  stayed up past one a.m.(excpetionally!) to see the finish to an extraordinary World Series game; the Houston Astros beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in the tenth inning, 13-12, after five hours and 17 minutes; there were seven home runs. To quote the NY Times: "In the 657 World Series games that came before, only one had more total runs. Only one had more homers. Only one lasted longer."
