Ross Bandstand

I was running rather late this morning, so I got off the bus early and took my 9am call on my mobile as I walked towards the office through Princes Street Gardens. 

I'm glad I did.

I spent about 10 minutes watching a squirrel pottering around, apparently undisturbed by me or the other people walking past.  Watching a squirrel pottering is good for you.  I should do it more often.

I also enjoyed seeing the Ross Bandstand.  It's always struck me as a rather sad structure, used briefly for the Festival Fireworks and New Year celebrations, but otherwise abandoned.  I hope it's replacement will be better used, bringing more life to the park.
