Pumpkins were sold out when I got there  - this happens every year - so I had to experiment with alternative vegetables. They look more like owls than ghouls, but never mind. I tried a tumshie too - in the extras  - which was even less successful, and a a good argument for abandoning the traditional in favour of a nice American pumpkin.
